Where Have All the Good Leaders Gone?
“What separates privilege from entitlement is gratitude.” –Brene Brown
We’ve come to November, the month of gratitude. As the holidays fast approach, we reflect on the close of another year and all we’ve accomplished in 2017. Here at Crown Center Executive Suites, we certainly have much to be grateful for, and we’re confident you do as well.
This is also an opportunity to question gratitude’s role in our businesses. Running your business with gratitude can play a huge role in your success and how you view your company’s day-to-day activities.
Here are some ways you can lead your business with gratitude:
Know That Your Business is Not About You
This may seem counterintuitive, but it’s true. Your business is about those you serve. Your clients, customers, and team – your business is about them. If you’re enjoying success in your business, others are helping you achieve that success. The more you keep that top of mind, the more you will run your business with a grateful spirit.
Celebrate Your Milestones
Whether it’s closing that sale, or upgrading to a new system, or just not forgetting everyone’s birthday on your team, celebrations are important. They give us purpose and help us remember why we work so hard to achieve our goals. If you have a team around you, celebrations help them execute your vision with pride and purpose.
Embrace Your Failures
Failure and rejection are unpleasant and disappointing. But every missed opportunity comes with knowing what to do better next time. We won’t do everything right every time, but we can improve through our mistakes. Be grateful for your missteps, which can lead to your future success.
We know you do so much more than occupy our space with us. You are all part of the Crown Center Suites team, and we thank you for your engagement, patronage, and business.
Enjoy a Thanksgiving filled with warmth, happiness, and joy!
